One nightly rate for the whole villa, never per room. The rate moves with the season, and the exact price for your dates is shown before you pay. Breakfast is included; lunches, dinners and drinks are optional and priced per dish and per drink.

Direct bookings come at two rates. The flexible rate matches our Airbnb terms: a full refund, less card processing costs, until 30 days before check-in, 50% until 7 days before, and none inside 7 days — plus 24 hours to change your mind after booking. Stays of 28 nights or more follow the long-stay terms: a full refund within 48 hours of booking, then the first 30 nights are kept. The non-refundable rate, offered when check-in is more than 30 days away, is discounted further and has no refunds. Travel insurance is recommended.

Most dates are three nights or more. Shorter stays are sometimes possible in a gap between bookings — the calendar will quote you if your dates work, and otherwise it will ask for more nights.

No. The villa is rented whole, for up to 12 guests, and you never share it with another party.

The price you see at checkout is the price; payment is taken on our own site by card or bank transfer. Full terms are in the booking agreement.

Comfortably. Starlink with a local island connection as backup, all behind solar with a battery reserve and a generator, and two desks beside wired connections — in the television room and the bunk room. Weekly and monthly stays are simple to arrange.

Yes. Every tap pours quadruple-filtered, UV-treated water.

Breakfast is included and cooked on site every morning. Optional family-style lunches and dinners, plus cocktails from the bar, are served by Delma and Everaldo and billed separately. All meals, breakfast included, are chosen on our dining form at least seven days before arrival so the ingredients are stocked for your selections — and ordering stays open once you are here, because plans change. We do not pre-stock groceries, but we are happy to recommend stores. The kitchen is yours for self-catering at no charge.

Plates are priced one by one — the whole menu is published with its prices, plus 12.5% General Sales Tax and the 24% Villa Operations Fee. Prefer one number a day? The Orchid Table all-inclusive plan covers breakfast, a midday course, a garden salad, a dinner main and dessert, with unlimited coffee and house water, at $99 per adult and $39 for children 4–11; under 4 dine free. Everything is itemized on the dining form before you pay.

No. It covers one of each course per person per day, not unlimited dining — only coffee and house water are unlimited. Alcohol and anything beyond the plan goes on a separate tab, and premium dishes carry a small supplement.

Yes. There is a full plant-based menu, The Garden Table, running alongside the carte, and most dishes on the main menu can be adapted. Tell us on the pre-arrival form.

All ages. The water out front is calm, clear and shallow, and the bunk room — two queens and two twins with its own television and en-suite — was built for children and crews. Kid favourites (pizza, chicken tenders, hot dogs, buttered pasta) are on the menu all day, there is a pack and play for the littlest guests, and the grounds are gated with parking inside. Registered guests only, no parties, and no pets.

Philip S. W. Goldson International (BZE) in Belize City, then the fifteen-minute hop to San Pedro (SPR) on Tropic Air or Maya Island Air. Book a 1.5–2 hour layover. A 90-minute water ferry from the city is the scenic alternative.

Everaldo meets you at the San Pedro airstrip and guides you over; Secret Beach is about forty minutes by golf cart. The Secret Beach water ferry is the no-driving option, and we meet you at the drop-off — or ask us to book a private boat from San Pedro straight to our dock, the fastest way in with children.

We strongly recommend one; the island runs on them. The villa does not provide a cart — guests rent their own, roughly $35–75 USD a day depending on the season, valid driver's licence required. We recommend MTK (+501 608-6336); mention Black Orchid Oasis for the best rate. Secure parking inside the villa's gates.

Yes. The villa sits on the west-facing shore of Ambergris Caye, where the seagrass never lands, so the water stays clear and swimmable year round. The one exception: a strong storm can push some sea grass onto the west shore for a short spell.

About twenty minutes away by golf cart — that is where the shops, the pharmacy and the clinics are.

No pets, and no parties or events. The villa is for its registered overnight guests.

No. Black Orchid Oasis is a private beachfront villa at Secret Beach on Ambergris Caye, rented whole, with its own chef and bartender on site. The Black Orchid Resort is an unrelated hotel near Burrell Boom on the mainland, about an hour from Belize City.
